Tips to Make Freebies Fun!
Get an extra e-mail address just for freebies!
Just about every time you sign up for freebies you'll be asked to give your e-mail address. Since you will likely receive many e-mails, it will help you to get an extra e-mail address. I have a separate e-mail address for my regular e-mail and my freebies e-mails.
You can get free e-mail accounts easily. Most of us already have them. Think gmail, Yahoo!, etc.
*Remember, the e-mails you receive are not considered spam because you willingly give your e-mail address. Often, though, you can later unsubscribe to a newsletter, etc., simply by clicking on a link in the e-mail.

Sign up to receive updates from various freebies sites.
Most websites that share freebies and coupons give the option to sign up for their e-mail updates. (I'm still working on that!) Sign up for them if you want those updates sent directly to your e-mail inbox.
Learn how to remove applications to allow access to your Facebook account.
Many of the freebies I've received (including many full-size product freebies) have been through Facebook. Usually those freebies require you to "Like" a Facebook page and add an application to allow access to your account. It's easy to remove those applications later if you so desire. It's pretty easy to do--I regularly do an "application removal" just because I don't always want all of the updates. Here's what you do:
1. Go to the "Account" drop down bar in the upper right hand corner of your Facebook page.
2. Click on "Privacy Settings."
3. Look for "Apps and Websites" in the lower left hand corner and click on "Edit your settings."
4. You'll see a heading for "Apps you use." Click on "Edit settings."
5. Click on the "Edit settings x" beside the application you want to remove. If you click directly on the x it will ask you if you want to remove the application, and you simply click Remove to remove it. Otherwise, if you click on the "Edit settings" you will need to click on the button that says Remove app and follow the steps.
It's easy to do and it won't change your status for receiving a freebie you've already signed up for--so don't worry!
